I can not believe November is finished, what a month, I managed so little and yet have never had more than 10 minutes to sit down.
December is crazy manic for us, with a short break, Birthday’s, School Plays and much more but I am really hoping to come each week and sharing my loves.
But for now grab a cuppa, a slice of cake and have a catch up…..
I still have not picked up a book, I have asked for several books for my Birthday and Christmas which I am hoping will get me back into the reading zone as I miss it terribly.
I did though go and read my Optometrist Letters this week to check that the old peepers are no worse and that I can keep up my reading once I find a book.
All good, now to find Glasses like this snapchat filter as I love them.
…over two of my special girls this week.
This week I baby sat my tiny niece Mabel for the first time. I really love my job of being an Auntie and it fills my heart when I get to have time with my Nieces. Mabel is such a good baby and we had a fun day together.
Addison is going through some tough times at the moment but I love how she fights through and shows her independence, rarely afraid to try anything new. This week she was invited to her older cousins Laser party and the girl did me proud.
She is fighting against the gender stigmas of 6 year old girls and says “Mummy girls can do and play anything they want!” Yes they can big girl, I am so proud of her outlook on life.
The great thing about Instagram and the Blogging community is the array of yummy recipes you find that inspire you to give it a try.
One of my favourite bloggers Georgia of Flowers in the Window shared a beautiful Cinnamon cake she had made and proclaimed it was the easiest cake to bake. Being that I love everything Cinnamon I had to give it a go and she was not wrong, it takes less than 15 minutes to make and is a proper Afternoon Tea winter warmer of a cake. Check out her post for the recipe.
I am still loving my Copper hair, the tone was not right the second time I had it done but it really is the perfect colour hair for this time of year and my skin tone. What more I love how much my Body Shop Lippy Havana Red (totally Lady Danger colour) looks with it.
Ps I can’t decide whether to buy this Navy hat from M&S, thoughts ???
I have been all about the music this week as Ashley treated me to a Spotify account, I know, where have I been? It means I can actually listen to music in the car, which I love as upbeat songs really help to bring up my mood.
I am after suggestions of songs which you think I should add to my playlist that will help me feel upbeat and ready for the day ahead?
I am so excited to have two posts coming on the blog this next week both featuring my cozy corner in the Living Room that I have been updating for the colder months.
So watch this space to see more pics, also don’t forget if you are Christmas shopping to check out my Shop Indie page for businesses that you really will want to spend your pennies at this year.
