Friday’s Finds From The Charity Shops – Home

Written by InnocentCharmer. Posted in 2013

I have always loved second-hand, I have been buying from Charity Shops and Boot Fairs before it become the cool thing to do.

I don’t get as much opportunity as I used to but Friday with a day off I took my Mom Charity Shopping and these were my purchases.

We moved a couple of months ago and I am re-doing every room to a style I currently like, I can’t decorate as we don’t own the house but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it your own, once every room is close to finished at least I shall share room tours for sure.

The Turquoise Canister is in such great condition and I was impressed with its £3 price tag, I am not sure it will house anything, more just look pretty in my Living Room.

The Vinegar Bottle was a little more pricey at £4, again I have no idea what I shall do with it yet, but I couldn’t leave it sitting on the shelf.

The Sundae Dish was available in 4 colours, honestly I wanted them all but I was being a good girl, I love Sundae Dishes as my Kitchen has a Retro 50’s Diner-esque feel, I have several glass ones, so this wont get used as a Sundae Dish, I may use it to hold some sweeties or soap etc by the sink. It’s a great shade of yellow, my 2nd favourite colour.

Best Buy Of The Day

The Printers Tray was the find of the day, an absolute steal at £10 (trust me on eBay you can’t get them for under £30), I want several for the house for different uses, if you don’t follow me on Pinterest, go over and look at my Printers Tray Board.

This one is in perfect condition, doesn’t even need a paint or wax and the best shade of wood for my Living Room.

I already have it in place on the wall above my G Plan Sideboard, at the moment it houses my lovely Momiji Dolls, Russian Dolls and a cute Vintage Trinket I have had for a few years, I can’t wait to find more little treasures to fill it.

I used to be a bit of a charity shop/bootfair snob. But nowadays I cant get enough of them, I have found some great bits! Love the sundae dish and well done on finding such a bargain with the printers tray!

I know what you mean, I never thought I would get anything for the kids, but I have bought most their garden toys x

Ahhh, great loot Mrs. I absolutely love a charity shop trawl but the hubby has put a stop to it for the time being. We have a home seemingly full of toys so he’s put a ban on any more “tat” as he so lovingly calls it. That’s printers tray is particularly amazing. It looks fab. x
