It has been three weeks of chest infections for our home, my Lupus is not allowing me to kick the cough, but this week I decided I needed to get stuff done so here is what I managed…
Other than books with the kids and social media I have not picked up a single thing to read. I still have Eat, Pray, Love on the go. Which I am enjoying but it is not easy reading for my tired brain at the moment. I am determined to finish it this month though.
I have been treating myself to Gilmore Girls on Netflix. I know everyone in the world pretty much is in excitement for the new series. I had totally forgot so much of the story so it is so fun catching up.
Lotus Biscoff has been on my list of things to bake with for some time. So this week I baked some cookies which are some of the tastiest ever! I did it all in the name of testing some gorgeous Brabantia Storage Jars, the recipe and review can be found here.
I’ve also nearly finished my next project with Pinty Plus. This time it’s not an upcycle but a complete construction and I am excited to share it this week as it has turned out lovely.
With Autumn comes dull looking weather and in turn my skin. Two weeks ago I received Transformulas Hydration Gold,* a hydrating recovery crème that doubles as a glimmering highlighter and primer.
Its amazing when you put it on it literally shimmers gold on your skin, under foundation it has given me such a pretty glow, that I would normally only achieve with masses of time (which I just don’t have) and highlighter/bronzer.
What more my skin feels good, even with the very cold wind chill it has been experiencing. I really suggest you all get this on your Xmas list or treat yourself before if you can, you will be thankful.
This week Addison and I finally got to see Trolls at the Cinema, not only did I love hearing my little girl giggle hard, dance and sing to JT at the end but also I bloody love the Soundtrack for the whole film. It is in my Amazon wishlist to buy come payday.
It has not been an easy year for us as a little family, we have dealt with quite a bit and as a Mummy I have managed to hold it all together so that my kiddies saw no fear or worry. We are not out of the woods yet either but what I have come to realise is this year has hurt me inside and I need to find my way back. Both physically and mentally I am a little damaged.
I am trying everything to get back on track, I have started my monthly to do lists here on the blog. I am also nearly finished compiling my Day Zero Project list.
It has not been hard though as Bookblock Original sent out the most beautiful personalised notebook*. They knew I loved Peonies so chose this gorgeous picture and then added my blog logo to the reverse.
The quality of the book is amazing, Bookblock live by the fact they produce a high quality product which can be personalised for a fraction of the cost. I have a couple of ideas planned for Christmas gifts, do take a look as let’s be honest a notebook is the gift all love to receive.
