Fisher Price Easy Clean High Chair Review – Part 1

We were lucky enough to be chosen to review the new Fisher Price Easy Clean High Chair.

I must say I was quite pleased when were chosen as the chair is suitable from Newborn upwards and we were just about to welcome the arrival of Addison when we got the email.
I decided to make the review a 3 part post, splitting into following areas.
Part 1 – Description of Highchair, Ease of Assemble and initial views.
The Highchair was easy to assemble, I told Ashley not to help me as I wanted to prove a mum could do it on her own and I was pleased to read the only tool required was a screwdriver for 4 screws. Everything just clicked together and most parts were already assembled. As you can see from the picture there were not many parts.
All in all it took me about 15 minutes to fully put together but this was also with the aid of Grayson bum shuffling around me. As per all Fisher Price items the instructions were easy to follow. The seat pad just slides on with the help of clips and elastic and takes 2 minutes to take back off if you needed to wash.
My only complaint with assembly was the position of 2 of the screws which were a little hard to get your hand into with a standard size screwdriver, but this is such a small thing.
Things I noticed on Assembly –
  • The great clips at the back for changing strap length, these are fantastically simple just open and close, I am so pleased with this as I maybe using this chair for both kids
  • The straps are a great wipe able plastic
  • There are several heights which will be great for when sitting at the table or feeding
  • It has wheels to make it easier to move around the Kitchen
  • Reclines for different ages
  • One handed tray removal
  • Lovely bright patterned wipe clean seat cover
Fisher Price designed this Highchair after mum’s told them they wanted something which was Easy to Clean and could also sit a Newborn in safely with them at the table and in the Kitchen whilst busy.
I must say looking at the highchair I am hoping it shall live up to both, I did notice straight away that there are very few little nooks and crannies for food to get into and the straps are a great plastic which looks so much easier to keep clean then the standard fabric straps.
Also the tray is dishwasher safe which sounds perfect to me.
So make sure to come back to see whether it lives up to its name, being put through its paces by my messy Grayson and sweet Addison.
The chair’s RRP is £100 and can be found at the following retailers – Toys R Us, Mothercare and Amazon.
Disclosure – We were sent this High Chair from Fisher Price FOC to give our views on the product.
