**Please remember for purpose of this review Grayson’s development age is 6/8 months old not 3yo**
Most of you will know we are fans of Fisher Price in our household, as let’s be honest I am sure we all have a large amount of Fisher Price items in our home.
I was very happy when Fisher Price contacted me about their Growing Baby Range which is exclusively sold in Sainsbury’s.
The range is fab value for money and ranges from 3mths up, it’s about teaching baby skills whilst having fun.
We were sent 2 toys from the range, the first being the Pull Along Froggie –
The Pull Along Froggie is a perfect way to encourage baby’s physical development as we look to 12 months and beyond. When baby is walking and on the move, this fun friend can be pulled along to see a silly action with clackers swinging side to side! The motion will also trigger a fun jingle sound to encourage baby to keep walking!
Both babies love this toy for very different reasons, Grayson loves to mouth it and push the little beads on top from side to side, the toy is great as it’s simple and bright, Grayson has slightly poor vision yet the simplicity of this toy means he focuses on it well, it teaches him cause and effect which is excellent for babies as they are understanding how things work including their little hands and feet.
Addison at 1st was unsure of the froggie, but she now pulls it around behind her at all times, it’s so cute, she giggles as it goes up and down.
At £9.99 I think this toy is incredible Value for Money, it has given hours of fun so far to both kiddies and I know it shall in the future.
We were also lucky to receive a 2nd toy from the range, Animal Stack & Nest Blocks, at £8.99 a steal.
The Animal Stack & Nest blocks are a perfect set of three blocks to help develop early problem solving skills. The set includes an elephant with a rocking head, a lion with a spinning mane and a monkey whose head moves side to side. Baby can both stack and nest all three blocks.
Suitable for children aged 9 months and over.
I love these toys, they are great bright colours, they have textures to stimulate little babies hands and moving heads that teach children about moving parts. Addison and actually Grayson are hugely into knocking over towers so they love these, I stack them up and before I have even placed the last block on top one of them is giggling as they fall to the ground, really teaching them problem skills.
We have really learnt to look at Toys in different ways from most parents, we look heavily into teaching basic developmental skills that help teach how to move and communicate, these toys both do excellent jobs for low prices and all whilst being chewable for teething mouths and easy to clean.
We can’t recommended these toys enough.
Disclosure – We were sent these toys FOC from Fisher Price for purpose of our review, we can honestly say we LOVE them.
