We were very kindly invited to get playing with Fisher Price at The Baby Show last month.
We had been to a Fisher Price Play Party a few years ago when Addison was still a baby, I knew she would love going now she is that bit older and I was not wrong.
Fisher Price kindly laid out a great deal of toys and entertainment for the kiddies, whilst we listened (and stuffed our faces) to a presentation about how Babies/Children Laugh and Learn.
Fisher Price in their awesome play labs bring in plenty of children to test out their new toys. I love the way Fisher Price do this, it allows real responses to their toys before they hit the market and they kindly showed us some of the gorgeous video’s of kids laughs as they played, I think anyone would agree the most magical sound known to the human ear.
Fisher Price over their many years have proved that babies learn best when they are having fun. I honestly have to agree, we have really noticed it with Grayson and Addison these past months. Since Grayson has started Special Needs school where he smiles daily to go he has learnt so many new skills.
With Addison we have noticed a great deal of change, her speech has come on miles and her interaction with other children is precious to watch. Like Fisher Prices research we believe books to be one of the best aids for her development, some of the Fisher Price books are our favourites, when it comes to Addison anything colour and animal based works best. I think this is why she was particularly taken with the Laugh and Learn Puppy and the new Love to Play Sis toys first at the event, the Lil Sis has even gone on her Christmas list.
Fisher Price are the leaders in the toy market for one reason, the amount of time they spend researching what makes a baby laugh so in turn what makes the best toy.

The Laugh & Learn range makes sure they full fill all 5 reasons above along with some of the top factors that parents say are important when choosing toys – development/traditional/learning & portability.
The Laugh and Learn range from Birth-onwards has plenty of choice to help young minds have fun and develop, Deacon proved that when testing out the Piano Play Gym and Addison has also tested many of the products before which have helped her develop to the stage she is now. I was pleased to see the range has become even larger with great new choices, below are a couple of our faves.
Don’t forget to check out the Fisher Price website and take a look at the range, we recommend them for all ages and I am sure you will find something great to buy for Christmas.
Disclosure – We received free entry to The Baby Show and a goody bag to let you know about the new laugh and learn range.
