Flashback Friday – The Day My Hair Was Gone

mummy mishaps

On Sunday is the 2nd Grayson’s Great Funday, I am excited and nervous, just as I was last year, but I am also a little disappointed this year. Why you ask ? Well this year I am not doing anything as special as having my head shaved as I did last year. I wish I had thought of something to show my little boy how much I love and support him, oh well maybe next year.

So I thought I would Flashback to the big head shave last year, I can honestly say it was the most empowering thing I have ever done in my life and I have not one regret.

Wow Kara, totally impressed with your dedication to Grayson. Your ‘something special’ this year is the love and care you give to your children every day!

  • emsyjo

Very impressed, I’ve always said I couldn’t do it, even though I have short ish hair these days. I’d have to think of something else instead!

  • Wow, you are so brave. I’m sure Grayson knows just how much he means to you and that something special is just being the best Mummy to him he could ever ask for.

What an amazing and wonderful thing to do! I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to go through with it. Wonderful idea to raise money and awareness. Popping over from Flashback Friday

  • Wow good for you – well done.

firstly, i cannot believe it has been a whole year since Grayson’s 1st funday and secondly I cannot believe you went through with it. well i can because you are his mummy and it meant so much morw than just losing your hair. i can see why it was so empowering and i actually love your hair so short and funky as it is now.
