Frame It Friday // Displaying Polaroids

Frame It Friday

With it being #PolaroidWeek2016 I thought what better subject to discuss for Frame It Friday as Polaroids are my favourite type of photo. Even with the amazing introduction of Digital Cameras and Smart Phones (which I truly love) there is nothing like an instant printed photo.

I have had a Polaroid of some sort since my early 20’s, I have a long list of cameras I would still like but at present I do love using my Fuji film InstaxMini and I have many pictures sitting around waiting to be up so I have been doing a little research on how to display and thought I would share some of my favourites…

Copper Hanging Frames

I have mentioned these frames on Frame It Friday a few times as I love them, but had never thought of putting my Polaroids in them before, you know what I shall be doing once we move.

Polaroid Print

This is actually a Polaroid print you can order from Not On The Highstreet but I love the idea of taking a plain piece of card and creating this buy sticking the pictures on, you could write little notes too, it would be very simple.

This is so effective, simply taping a single photo in the frame, it would be a beautiful way to show off a stunning image you take, or be great in a Gallery Wall.

Polaroid Collage

This is amazing, blogger AUTEUR Ariel upcycled this frame using Washi (oh the love) and then strung on all the Instax Mini pictures from her wedding day, I love this it would be so cheap to do and a great conversational piece.

What more if it would be a simple way to keep updating pictures with no hassle.

Washi Tape Frames

On the subject of my beloved Washi Tape how amazing are these frames made from simply sticking up Washi round a Polaroid.

The possibilities are endless like this, so much colour, pattern and choice. This would be great for a kids room especially.

I have even more inspiration over on my Polaroid pinterest board if you fancy giving it a follow. I would love to hear your ideas on how you would frame Polaroids ?

    All such gorgeous ideas! X

  • Wow these are awesome, I love the pegged ones best, so beautiful

I love having stuff on the wall that is personal to you and I really love the washi tape frames on the last one too. I’ve just acquired a lovely old window which lots of people have suggested I turn into a picture frame. It would love fab, but waaaay to heavy for the wall!

  • I love all those ideas, especially just the grid of polaroids with washi tape frames. At the recent event I went to I got some books by Ashlyn Gibson, and there are some lovely photos on there of how families have creatively displayed their photos (one hanging them from tree branches/twigs which looked fab) x #HomeEtc

  • These are fantastic, I put some of our IG photos on our fridge (which is in a cupboard so not magnetic) and painstakingly stick them all on with blutak, next time I’m definitely going to go for washi tape! I really like the green frames with the photographs taped inside too xx #HomeEtc
