Frame It Friday // Looking Around Fi’s Home

Last week I shared with you our first guest Frame It Friday with Emily’s Art. This week the very gorgeous Fi of Childcare is Fun has shared some of her walls with us.

A photo posted by Fi Star-Stone (@childcareisfun) on

First up one of her favourite walls in her home, a lady after my own heart creating a gallery wall of Photos, Memories, Quotes and Art from some of her favourite people in the world including a piece from Sian To who I am also lucky enough to have in my home.

I love the mixture of pieces, all within the same coloured frames it works so well and would create many a conversation with visitors I would imagine.

Next up is her family gallery wall. I love how they have arranged these on picture shelves. To be honest I had never thought of doing this before but now am looking at shelves ready for our new home as it saves so many nails in the walls (a plus when renting).

Fi explains why I am such a fan of the photo wall…

Sadly some are no longer with us but the memories are framed and last forever.

Lastly Fi shares her stairwell wall with us and this reminds me why I think Fi (and her Hubby) are some of the coolest people I know!

Our favourite records on the wall. Morrissey, Bowie, Blur, Cilla, The Smiths. We just add to it more and more!

Didn’t I tell you, cool, that is what I love about running Frame It Friday, it takes us away from the norm, it gives an outlet to show that anything can be Art.

Record Covers use some of the most talented Artists in the world and Fi makes sure they do not get hidden in a cupboard and are shared with the world.

Thanks so much Fi for a glimpse into your beautiful, awesome home. Do make sure you go check her out on Instagram, she is a total goddess and has some of the best hair you will ever see.

If you would like to take part in Frame It Friday please just tag me on Instagram or drop me an email.

  • I’d love a feature picture wall. Framing record albums is genius! #homeetc

I LOVE the framed album artwork! We’ve got a framed 12″ single on the wall but it doesn’t have any artwork with it. Loving her taste in wallpaper too — the Orla linear stem print is one of my faves! Thanks so much for linking this up — I always love to see what others have on their walls!! 🙂 #HomeEtc

I found this link on the HIBS100 website. It has inspired me to get a ‘picture wall’ going! I’m not into ornaments but I do love photos and pictures and frames. Great post! Thanks for sharing.
