Having a name like Kara meant as a child there were no items for sale that had my name in or on them.
Now a days though with so many companies printing and making it was something I knew wouldn’t be a problem when I named my kids away from the “Norm”.
Kids love personalised art, well in fact I think a little as adults we do to, just look at the popularity this last year of word banners.
All my kids have their name in one way or another in their rooms, personalised hand drawn art, wall stickers and name prints, I thought I would show my 5 top picks I have seen as they would make great Birthday or Easter gifts (if you do them), they are also brilliant for 1st Birthday’s or something special for a Christening.
This is the one Super G has in his room, it’s from Not On The Highstreet and comes already framed, I love the simple design and that it not only has their name but a meaning too.
I love the Watercolour feel to this digital print, from a shop called Dorinda Art in the wonderful world of Etsy. This is a steal at under £5 (Addison is so getting one) and is totally customisable in colours too.
Ketchup on Everything offer these vintage circus/animal style prints, I think these are great as they are classic and can work from tiny up until much older. Also unisex I think these are going on our list for the new house and new bedrooms.
Alpha Betty create these amazing prints, not only showing the kids name but adding animals and objects which also start with the letter, it has a great kitsch feel and a wonderful gift.
Lastly I have gone for a classic, Scrabble Art is so timeless and works for every age, Not On The Highstreet offer so many choices including this simple design.
Thoughts, do you like personalised wall art ? Which of these could you see putting up in your home ?
