This week has felt equal amounts of short and long and if I am honest I am so glad it is Friday. We have no definite plans for this weekend, but we shall be going out to explore.
But lets tell you how this week has been…
I am still reading Eat, Pray, Love – I think I have a few weeks left, it is taking my brain a little time to get back in book reading mode.
I also treated myself to a couple of home mags this week, I love nothing more than a magazine, first time flicking, then cup of tea in hand, comfy chair and really read.
So I made a promise to myself to have one night a week no TV, well I should not have subscribed to Netflix then as there is just too much great choice.
On my own I have started Grace and Frankie – if you like romcom with a difference this is for you.
Then Ashley and I together have this week watched both series of Breakout Kings (told you too much TV), I am sad that is all they will do though wish I had known that before watching.
Well I finally started one of the projects on my To Do list, although I am not sure how well it fits in the Made category.
I am working with Valspar to upcycle my lovely new to me TV Display Cabinet, I am hoping the weather stays good this weekend so I can get it finished.
Isn’t the colour amazing ???
My little Baker/Maker has been begging me to do something together so last weekend when the heavens opened we did some very simple Jam Tarts, she was over the moon, what easy baking projects do you do with your kids ??
It’s all about the Make Up this week, I do love new make up and I feel like there is always something new I have not tried before.
Nu-Skin kindly sent out their Eyelash Treatment. I was a little unsure how much I needed this sort of product but I am in love. Over the past 2 years my eyelashes have started falling out, my once no need for fake eyelashes eyes are not so good. Well this treatment has worked wonders, they are definitely not falling out as much and what more it gives a great base for Mascara, clearly defining the lashes.
I will definitely be buying another once this runs out, if you have similar problems I would totally recommend.
Also in the picture are some amazing palettes from Fake Bake which I shall be sharing in a fashion/make up look post next week, so far though great pigment and totally loving the shades.
All I have heard music wise for the past few weeks is one song, because my two youngest have fallen in love with it and request it 100 times a day.
If they were not so cute dancing and singing to it I am not sure I could take it anymore.
*The video does really make me smile though, serious dance like no one is watching
Thanks to Morgana for inspiring this post each week, I really do enjoy #LittleLoves – my blog mojo has been all over the place of late so posts like this really help.
Morgana is amazing, she is the type of lady that you walk past and think god dam she is cool, she is kind and caring and really do go give her a follow.
Whats more she owns Little and Fierce and if you have not checked it out before, do now, small independents like hers need our support.
ps. she did not ask me to write any of that xx
