Home // Valentines Dinner For The Kids

The lovely people at Ocean Loans asked if they could help inject a little Love into our Home for Valentines this year.

I headed to Dunelm and picked up a couple of bits to create a Valentines Table and Tea for the little loves in my life.

It was in fact so simple and very effective, we had an early Valentines Tea this week but of course I have had to promise to do it all again on the day itself.

Valentines Dinner

I simply cut up a £4.99 Heart Oilcloth into little individual table mats, I also bought matching napkins, the kids always love it when I give them napkins.

We lit a very pretty scented 3 wick candle, filled a simple glass vase with Daffs and then I set about making all their food Heart Shape where I could using a set of Cookie Cutters.

Finally that was all set out on a Heart Shaped Board and Dish, see the theme I was going with.

Valentine Dinner

I spent less than £30 acheiving this and everything can be used way past the month of February.

I think it is always nice to celebrate every special day with the kids, how about you ? Next week we are going to make some Heart Biscuits and have some Chocolate too.

Disclosure – I received a £50 Dunelm voucher to share this post but all views are my own.

Dunlem is very well priced. They have some gorgeous material in my local store. Perfect for making clothes. The oilcloth you have used is great for making bags.
