>I feel sad and blue :((((

>Hi Folks

Its nothing serious – but had a phone call this morning, you know that big fair I mentioned, the one I was taking the big leap with, the one that was going to give me the pocket money for all my new swaps – well its cancelled, they didn’t get enough interest can you believe it a massive county wide event. I am sooo sad, I have to think of some urgent sales techniques for my stuff I need pocket money.

But on a better note I have some lovely crafty pictures to show you all.
Yippee we cry, always cheers me.

These are images of a cute little scrapbook my Mom made for me, for my cousin, for a house warming pressie, you put little piccy’s in with remembering notes bit like a journal. Similar idea to the ATC book she made me from a previous post.

These are 2 Necklaces I had made ready for the fair but go on website now, the Pink and Grey focal is one of my new polymer clay pendants, the other is by a nice friend of mine from one of my British forums.
This is from a swap on a British Beading Forum, from a great lady called Alison she makes incredible jewellery and made this in Pink especially for me.

These are some ATC’s I have made, the Ribbon ones went out today to Swapbot Partners.

The others are just some ideas I have been playing with for future swaps.

These ATC’s were sent to me from some lovely people in the states for the ATC @ Work swap how cute are they.

These are a Newspaper swap from Swapbot we had to pick out some local columns from our paper which had interest and send them, one of mine has gone to the US the other to Brazil – I decided to stick mine on a paper like a mini newspaper.

And last but certainly no means least my great friend Tanaya sent me this great Journal for our Journal Swap, I love it, its so Gustav Klimt which is funny cause he is one of my favourite artists. I am using it as a swap Journal to keep track.
Thanks Tanaya.

Sorry for the massive post but I am cheering myself up. Thanks for taking the time to visit hope you are all well.

    >Hi,
I’m sorry your fair has been cancelled – how annoying for you.
I’m loving your crafty photos though.

    >I’m sorry the fair was cancelled, but be grateful. You could have prepped and worked and shown up and set up your little booth and had it turn out to be a bust. Then you would have wasted the day.

Now you can move on & focus on selling elsewhere. Good luck!

    >I love your Rainbow Soul Laurel Burch journal. Lucky you to have such a good friend to send it to you! I love her work. I saw one at Borders last week and wanted it so bad……but you know how it is, pennies are counted between this and that, and “that” won! I linked here from Janet’s blog. Sorry your fair was cancelled. What a terrible letdown! I’ll be back! Nice to meet you!

    >You deserve to be cheered up! I saw your necklace on Janet’s post!
    Sorry about your fair!!!
Hope you are having a good weekend anyway! I don’t make jewelry but I do collage , mostly with magazine images. I paint watercolor and make quilts…I am twice your age and still making things as fast as I can! I’ve done my share of craft fairs and quilt shows…meeting wonderful people and selling a little!
