In My Beauty Bag // July 2017

I love anything Beauty, a new product is released and I instantly want to try it. Looking after myself and my skin has always pleased me, if I had my way I would be in a Spa every other day.

But as working Mummy that is just not possible, but that does not mean I can not still enjoy looking after myself at home.

So each month I shall be coming to you with 3 products that I have been using and giving a real review on what I thought – whether they are gimme or gimmick.

Zara Fruity Eau De Toilette

Zara Fruity Eau De Toilette Review

I love light fragrances and this is just that. Very few people know that Zara sells a massive selection of fragrances for Men, Women and Children and all are reasonably priced. This, for example, is £9.99 and it is a huge bottle.

If you like light, summer style, floral scents then this is for you, literally 3 squirts last me all day and I have been complimented so many times.

Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream *

Vegan-friendly this lightweight day cream was something I was really excited to try. I started using the product in March in the hope it would help my Winter skin which at the time was struggling a little with the cold weather outside and dry heat inside. It worked wonders, very light when it goes on but really moisturising on dry skin.

Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream Review

It smells gorgeous, dries into the skin giving a perfect base for makeup. My worry was that when the warmer months hit would it be too greasy. Well, it isn’t, it still works just as well in these summer months and I am incredibly sad I ran it out last week.

I have used it at least once a day for the past 4 months and it is such good value for money.

Manuka Honey Face Mask

I received this in a beauty box a couple of months ago and was pretty excited as I love a face mask and had always wanted to try one of these.

Manuka Honey Face Mask Review

To be honest, I was disappointed, the mask did not stay on well and kept slipping off, it felt lovely on my skin whilst I was doing it, very cooling. But after I just found my skin felt and looked much the same.

I think I honestly prefer the feeling of my skin after a mud mask, but I will certainly look at trying another brand sometime soon.

I am excited to come to you next month, if you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I managed to nab an M & S Summer Beauty Box and the products look fab, in particular, I can’t wait to try the Mascara and Nail Varnish.

If you have seen any beauty products you have wanted to try but don’t want to risk spending your money let me know and maybe I can give them a try.
