In My Beauty Bag This Month

This weather is playing havoc with my skin, between the occasional hot day and rain it is hard to know what to use, for one of the few times in my life I am having break outs, so next month I shall be putting to the test my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish kit that I treated myself to many moons ago.

But for now, lets talk about what I have been using this month.

Eyeko London Sport Waterproof Mascara (£19.00)

This trial size of the Mascara I received in the M&S Beauty Box I bought last month. I love trying new Mascara’s as it really is something that changes the whole look of your face. I have very sensitive eyes so testing Mascaras is something I feel I do well.

I like the packaging, its light and will fit in your handbag easily. The shape of the brush is extremely curved and the look of the formula is a little more like fibre Mascaras.

I have found that I can wear the Mascara all day without irritation, it spaces the lashes beautifully, the only thing I would change is how thick my lashes look, but for everyday, it is perfect as it is smudge proof.

Alpha-H Daily Essential Moisturiser (£29.00)

With the daily changing weather I was hoping this Moisturiser although lightweight would be good at keeping my skin hydrated.

The formula is a 3 in 1 and contains SPF 50+ to protect you all summer long. I found the formula to be thicker than expected for lightweight formula and unfortunately it smelt a little too like sun cream which I would rather it had not.

If on a holiday abroad I think this would be an excellent product as it would be very hydrating against the sun and chlorine but for me, it just felt a little too greasy under my makeup.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer (£8.99)

A few months ago this was the Concealer all the YouTubers were raving about and that meant I wanted to give it a try.

As you can see I have been testing the product for a while now and I love it.

I particularly love it for under the eyes, it goes on like a dream, no blending issues and it hides those tired bags brilliantly.

Don’t forget to come back next month and see if the Liz Earle helps out my breakout skin, or if you have something to recommend then let me know.
