>It feels like my Birthday

>
I have been a very lucky girl the past 2 days.

First of all in the post from a dear blog friend and truly amazing artist, I received my compo charm I won. I can’t believe I got chosen, I mean I know everyone says it, but I never win anything and this came at a time when I really needed cheering up. Not only did she send me the truly inspiring Charm, she also sent me a blown up version in picture format which is going up in my craft room, but hey I may make a nice frame for it first(watch this space). You must all go and check out Christine’s Blog it is such a great read.

So BIG THANKS to Christine of Bellacole, now to decided how I should use it?

Here is a view of front and back of beautifully soldered charm, Christine asked me my fave colour, which I said PINK too and she accompanied tones into the charm.

Now on the subject of soldered charms, big thanks also to Erin, I told you it felt like my birthday, well I asked Erin (after seeing on her blog) if she would make my sister and I soldered name charms and she did, so I then went to work and made us both a pretty Necklace. I can’t show you Shannon’s though as she hasn’t taken it off long enough for me to picture.

What do you think ? I used my fave colours Pink and Cream and the beads I just couldn’t live without Swarovski Crystals and Freshwater Pearls, its so cool finally having something with my name on.

Well then it hit me, do you know what I have only 4 pieces of my own creations so I thought as I have not been in the beading mojo of late I would make myself a nice simple Black Necklace as I have no Black, so using Hematite and the old faves Swarovski Crystals in Lilac, voila..

So it seems slowly but surely I may return to the world of blogging and crafting, next weekend will be the test as dear hubby is on a Boys Car weekend, which means I am left alone with no form of transport so its just me, the TV and Craft. Woohoo.

Take care, love to all and hope your weekend has been fun.

    >Yes, I agree, we must have a peek into your alone time! You will have so much fun!

    Yay for prizes!

I love the “Kara” necklace!! Beautiful! I agree, I hardly have anything of my own that I make. I wonder if that is normal?

    >The necklaces are gorgeous.

It true isn’t it, that many crafters have very little of their own work because they give it away or sell it.

    >Love what you did with the name charm! Beautiful necklaces!
