Mrs Emily Clark // Loving Shelves

You all know I have a little thing about Shelves, well so does my guest blogger Emily and she has come today to show you her collection…

I love a shelf and I am always on the lookout for different ideas. We have quite a few different ones in our home at the moment and thought I would share with you.

Picture Shelf
I have just got two of these, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I love the fact that you can just change what is on them without having to worry about holes in the wall and that you can put all sorts of knick knacks on them. These are IKEA ones that I purchased from Amazon.

Circular Shelves
These have featured before in the piece about the conservatory. Everyone comments on them and they look perfect against the green wall. I was torn between them and cube shaped shelves (maybe I could get them for somewhere else 😂)
Again from Amazon as it was the cheapest place I could find them.

Shelving Units
I spent time looking for something that would go either side of the fireplace in our living room. We really needed something for the sky box and the telephone to go on but also could be used for photos etc. I found these unfinished pine shelves in Argos and then painted them myself with Little Greene paint. I love that they are the colours that go with very thing else in the living room.

Hexagonal Shelves
I had seen these shelves quite a lot and resisted but glad that in the end I got them for our youngest son’s bedroom. I love the shape and they were so easy to put up. I think it would look great with some more added but not sure they are at still available from Flying Tiger.

I love to google and see what is available out there and there are so many options and styles.
Thank you for reading and I will be back same time next month.
