Nom Nom Kids Review And Giveaway

As most of you know I have been on my weaning journey with Deacon for a few months now, it has certainly not been all plain sailing as we found out Deacon has Cows Milk Protein Allergy, as well as nasty reflux, Baby Led Weaning once again was not really an option, so purees it has been.

Obviously making purees at home is always best, especially when you have a child who can’t take a lot of foods in the general market baby foods, but going out and about with made purees has always been somewhat of a challenge, well until I was sent these awesome pouches from Nom Nom Kids.

Suzanne, is a fantastic Mumpreneur, starting her own business after weaning 2 children and annoyed there was no reusable/recycable pouch on the market to put her own made baby food into, she has really thought about cost and ease of use when it comes to her pouches, as well as them being safe and practical for the babies.

I have seen other pouches on the market (not used any) and what I liked about Nom-Nom pouches was how you just fill them with a spoon, you just unzip the pouch, fill to the line and seal the pouch, it is that simple. I do warn do pay attention to when filling or you will do what I did and squeeze all the food out.

The pouches are

  • BPA Free
  • Phthalate Free
  • PVC Free
  • Freezer Safe
  • Dishwasher Safe
  • reuseable
  • Easy to Clean
  • Funky Designs to Make Kids Smile

We have been using for a few months now and I have no complaints, I make up food and can either keep in the fridge or if I make a large batch they are safe to go in the freezer until I need them, we used them on our recent holiday and they worked wonders as each pouch has a space on the back to write its contents and date made.

They are super easy to clean, I tend to wash by hand when doing the bottles but the Mr has also put them in the Dishwasher and they came out as new.

I think these are a must buy item for any weaning journey, as you can also transfer shop bought jars into them or even like I have, a yoghurt for Addison when we were on the long drive and I didn’t have to worry about mess as she can just squeeze into her mouth.

Very kindly Suzanne has offered 2 prizes to be won by my lucky readers, each prize shall contain 3 reusable pouches, plus spare lids and a pen to write on each pouch, all you have to do is fill in the rafflecopter below.

Good luck and check out Nom-Nom Kids site for many recipes to help on your weaning journey.

Jake still loves puréed fruit when we are on the go, so this would be fab as it is a pain carrying pots and spoons all the time!

My grand daughter Freya, is 6 months old and weaning she also has milk protien allergy and the reflux was awful. She is so much happier now she has purees. Her favourite is mango so that would be the first we would try. As an eco friendly household a reusable pouch is a great invention and I can’t wait to get some of these for out and about meals.
