Stokke – Yes Please

I have never had a Stokke product before, but after visiting The Baby Show for the past 4 years, I have played and played with their ever growing product line and hoped one day.

As Grayson developed it become apparent that I was not going to be able to treat myself, oh I mean Grayson to Stokke products as he had a specialist need, but with the arrival of Addison I knew that was all going to change.

When we came to buy a Pushchair for Addison we did not have the finances for the Stokke Xplory which was hugely disappointing to me, but I made it my mission that Ashley would treat me to something.

"Hey Lady Let Me Enjoy the Xplory"

As we attended The Baby Show on Friday just gone, I headed straight for the Stokke Stand, I wanted to show Ashley just why I love the Xplory so much.

Even Daddy finds it nice to push

The lovely ladies allowed me to get Addison in one and let Ash test it out, at 6ft some pushchairs just aren’t high enough and he hates 3 wheels. So he was pleased to see the Xpolry has 4 wheels and agreed the height is great.

Addy testing the Sleepi

I went onto show him the lovely Sleepi and Care Changing Station, Addison also tested the Sleepi and I changed her in The Baby Show Changing Facilities which provide the Care. I have fallen in love with every Stokke product.

The Sleepi as you can see is such a great size much bigger than Addy’s current cot and can grow with a child up to 10, the Care is a fab height for someone like me who has back issues, again Stokke, being forward thinking have made this product grow with child and it converts to a desk.

So although Ashley agreed all these items are truly awesome I don’t foresee us being able to have them all for Addison but we shall be looking at some for the next baby and if I can save well enough maybe the Xpolry for Addison.

What Addison does luckily get to try out is the famous Stokke Tripp Trapp, the gorgeous people at Stokke sent us a Grey Tripp Trapp and Baby Set to test out. To say we are over the moon is an understatement.

1st impressions are excellent.

So easy even I can do it!

The Stokke Tripp Trapp comes in little packaging, which in today’s climate is great for carbon footprint, I kid you not it took the Hubby 6 minutes to construct and that was with moving the foot plate twice. At first glance, it is beautifully made, it’s very well constructed and come with great safety features like added on foot plates for extra stability.

Addison sits in it beautifully, we shall be doing a full review of the Tripp Trapp in a couple of weeks once we have properly road tested it for all situations, but I can say I have already gone online and ordered a seat pad cushion as we like having it as an addition to our home that much.

So do come back for our full opinions on the Tripp Trapp and go to Stokke’s Website to check out how awesome their grow with Children Products are, you wont be disappointed.

  • Thank you for a lovely blog post. Do you mind if I mention it on our Facebook page and blog?

  • Friends in the Netherlands recommended the Trip Trapp to us long before we had kids. It was among the first items on our shopping list. these seats are great- robust and really do grow with the children. The other advantage- they keep their value really well. Even second hand ones sell very well on Ebay, which is another statement for their usefulness. Enjoy the Tripp Trapp!

  • What a lovely post – and photos too. I adore the Tripp Trapp. My youngest has a purple one – it’s just beautiful!

I was gutted I was too ill to get to The Baby Show! Glad you all had fun!
