Summer Infant Dinner Mat Review and Giveaway – Non Sponsored

Addison has been struggling with feeding pretty much since birth, this is not new to us as obviously Grayson has major feeding issues, but with Addy I have really wanted to try and get them under control.

We were lucky enough to be sent the wonderful Stokke Tripp Trapp with baby set for Addison, which is great as she can sit at the table with us, so when I started giving her food off our plates problems hit.
First I tried putting food onto a plate, mistake number 1, she was more interested I’m playing with the plate than eating her food.
Same thing happened with a mat, I then tried straight onto the tablecloth (oilcloth) nope she would just pull at the tablecloth to try and chew that.

I thought we would have no success, then one day whilst out shopping I saw the Summer Infant Tidy Diner and at Ā£5 I thought its worth a go.

Summer describe the mat as follows….

Soft, flexible placemat with a scoop tray which you can simply wipe clean after every meal for convenience. The mat also rolls into a compact size so it can be tucked away for travel. Available in various fun colours and designs to entertain little ones.

It has been awesome, basically I sucker it to the table so no worries of her trying to get it up (although she did try) I just put her food on the mat and even when she was squashing it on the mat this is thy an issue as the mat is not only washable but even better I can chuck it on the top tray of the dishwasher.

It has a scoop at the edge by their seat too, which catches all the bits Addy can’t get in her mouth or tries to push off so saves a lot of clear up from the floor.

Lastly it rolls up in itself so not only does it take up little space in the kitchen but also goes easily in her changing bag for when we go out.

As I said this post is not sponsored. I bought the product myself but thought it was good enough to share. I did contact Summer to let them know I was posting a review on my blog and they very kindly have offered to donate one Tidy Diner for my blog readers, awesome huh.

So fill in the rafflecopter boxes below and the winner will be selected next Friday.
