The lovely The Boy and Me is holding a fab competition over on her blog to win a The Day That Framed Print, I would love one of these, they are such a fab idea.
Entry – Well, we want to see that day. We want to see one photo from your special day; one that sums up the emotions, the sensations, the atmosphere
I think once you have more than one child it’s very hard to distinguish either of their birth dates as the more special day, the day I got married was amazing but it also ha memories that taint it, so I thought I could not enter this comp, then last weekend happened and I had my Day.
Grayson last Sunday had his maiden voyage on his trike, which an amazing amount of bloggers/online friends helped raise money for through Grayson’s Trike Auction hosted by This Mummy Loves.
After much waiting it was an exciting day to take him out on it, we gathered up some of the family, put both trikes in the car and headed to seaside.
We just thought Grayson would sit in the trike, hopefully smile a little and let us do the work for him, but the whole time getting to strengthen his leg muscles. How wrong we were.
Grayson immediately smiled, within a minute he was screaming his happy noise, his hands went straight to the handle bars and then the most AMAZING thing happened, Grayson pedaled, YES PEDALLED, all own his own.
No words can describe the feeling, I wept, right there on the seafront with hundreds of people around me, I screamed and jumped, kissing and cuddling him at every opportunity, I videoed, took pictures and my heart was the proudest it has ever been, I created this perfect moment.
So This post is my entry into the The Day That… blogger photo competition – The Day My Son took what Doctors said less than a Month Ago and Stood on it, Spat on It and Rode Over It.
