What I Wore – Blogtacular

This past weekend I treated myself to the 1st ever Blogtacular blogging conference, I am getting much better at leaving terrified Kara behind and embracing conferences, don’t get me wrong I still have wobbles, twice on the day I felt sick to my stomach but I made the whole day and even a light bite after.

One of my biggest worries is always looking right, since I have started to embrace the Plus Size blogging community I am getting better at realising no matter my size I can still look good, of course I certainly would like to drop some dress sizes (and I will) but whilst getting there I am enjoying finding clothes to fit me now.

I had an outfit in mind, (including my pretty new Converse) but when the weather report showed a day of rain I was not risking it, I knew I wanted to be comfy but not too many layers as these events are always hot (I was not wrong).

I never actually got a full length shot but I think these snippets show the whole outfit.

I had my hair done by a new hairdresser on Thursday and I am just not sure about it, she cut off my length (which I had not wanted) and the colours are a little bit cheap looking  but at least it isn’t flat anymore and hair grows out.

I don’t have many trainers, nothing plain (I always seem to pick patterns) so I decided on my old Superdry Hightops, I have had them a few years and haven’t worn them much, they have featured in my Wardrobe posts on Flickr back in 2009 a great deal, value for money for sure.

I loved wearing with little frilly socks, I think the look is super cute and bought them to wear with my Sun Jellies and new Converse when the weather improves.

My new Kimono is just gorgeous, the pictures don’t do it justice, it has the loveliest Neon and Pastel colour touches, I can’t wait to add this to so many outfits, it is great at hiding the bingo wings too.
