We have moved three times in the past 8 years and nearly everything we have owned from property one is no longer with us except one high quality item that gets used every day!
Its our bin, yep nothing fancy but honestly one of the best purchases we ever made. A Brabantia 50L bin for our kitchen, which replaced a Brabantia bin only because 30L was not big enough with a growing family.
The best thing it looks no different from the day we bought it. So I was very excited when I found out Brabantia offered many other products which have the same expected superior quality.
I was so excited to receive the Brabantia Stackable Storage Jars, they come in several sizes and I was sent 2 of the 2.5L.
I loved the simplicity of the clean design, they are very smart and chic. With that it means they have no nooks and cranny’s they are fantastic for keeping clean.
The jars all come with soft sealing lids, the soft being the most important part, I personally have always found some sealing jars to be too difficult to open but I love how easy these are. Even I can open and close them. But also so can the kids to get to the treats.
Keeping the Cookies fresh for longer in style.
Is Brabantia’s closing point on these jars, so I thought what better way to put them to the test for you all then to bake.
I have been wanting to make some Lotus Biscoff cookies for a while, I decided to try making them nice and warm with added cinnamon, perfect for these Autumn evenings.
They turned out really well, a little crunchier than I would like, but lets put it this way everyone came back for seconds and Addison has insisted they need to be baked again for Santa.
[yumprint-recipe id=’2′]So did the cookies last for longer ? Well they have spent the past 3 days in the jar being slowly eaten and I can confirm so far they still taste the same as the day I put them in, which I am very happy with.
I think you will all agree they look gorgeous on the shelf, so not only are they beautiful to look at they are also seriously practical.
The other sizes have headed onto my Christmas list as I want to have a whole shelf of treats for the kiddos, well and me!
