Little Dish Fresh Filled Pasta Review

So you all know by now that we are huge fans of Little Dish here at Innocent Charms Chats, not only does Addison love their meals but as a Mum I love their concept and company.

I find all the people I have dealt with to love what they do, they really seem like one big happy family, who care that your kids eat healthy but with major enjoyment, so they put their thinking caps on and came up with a new product.

Fresh Filled Pasta, it currently comes in 2 different varieties – Mini Tortellini with Cheese & Tomato and Mini Ravioli with Spinach & Ricotta.

Made with 100% natural ingredients, including free range egg pasta, these meals are fab for not only being totally healthy for your child but also a great way to sneak some vegetables in for those bubba’s who are not so sure.

Addison is a pasta lover so I thought these would go down a treat, I hadn’t realised initially they were aimed at children slightly above her age at 3/7 years old, so considering this I am not surprised I had to break down each piece into 4 before they were her little mouth size, each bag has 230g and would easily do 4 meals for Addison, so at £1.99 per packet they are excellent value for money.

Little Dish state to cook them for about 3/4 mins for the Tortellini and 6/7 mins for the Ravioli, I personally felt this to be too short but then we like our pasta well done in this house so I actually cooked them for 10 minutes.

I at first tried feeding Addy the pasta without sauce but they were a little dry for her taste so I quickly whipped together a tomato sauce and added and once I had done this she polished off over 1/2 a bowl.

I shall be buying the pasta again, it is just nice to have a meal that’s fresh and healthy for Addison but with the benefit of only taking minutes to cook on a busy evening after work, I am sure as she gets older she will love adding all different sauces to the pasta and that’s the advantage it’s all very flexible.

The pasta packets are currently available in Waitrose and Ocado at £1.99 per packet in the fridge aisle, it’s nice to buy food from a company you can trust.

Here is a Dinner Suggestion from Little Dish to use with the pasta.
