It’s that time of the month where my gorgeous guest blogger Emily comes and shares some home styling.
I love these posts as it gives me a chance to share Emily’s gorgeous home with the world, but also I get to nosey around too.
Dexters Superhero BEDRoom
This room needs decorating but with lining paper that is coming off I am putting off that job for now! There are lots of lovely bits in his room though. Here are some of my favourites…
Chest of Drawers
This is one of my favourite upcycle projects. I love the colours on it and it has plenty of room for all of his clothes plus lots of room on the top for knick knacks.
Dress Up Corner
These hooks were purchased from Amazon and were easy to just stick to the wall. The Lego images were just from the internet, printed at home and fab, cheap frames from Wilkos. Such good value!
Desk and Chair
I spied these in a skip at my son’s school and asked if I could have them. Upcylced with some spray paint and wallpaper they are perfect for a boys room. He is a bit young at the moment but will need a desk in the future.
Superhero Storage Boxes
The boys have so much Lego and these boxes are great for storing is all. These fit nicely under the bed so it is hidden away. Brightly coloured and available in lots of sizes from Wilkos.
Pen Holders
Jam jars with rainbow tape around. Look great, super easy to do and cheap too! Sometimes the simplest ideas are so effective and just makes something a little different.
Wooden Sign
I saw this sign and the words are definitely true of our little Dexter so thought it would be perfect for his room. It is a gorgeous sign from Buffalo and Bear.
One day we will get around to decorating his room but for now it’s perfect for a 3 year old who only really sleeps in it.
Next up is the living room…… wish me luck!
