We are nearly halfway through the Summer Holidays already, I can not believe it.
Even though I am having to work a lot of every week on the other days we are having many mini adventures.
After Birthdays every month for the past three the bank balance is tight but thankfully there are so many free things to do with the kids, being on the Kent Coast we have the best of both worlds, beautiful beaches and country parks all within a 15-minute drive.
Getting out for a whole day, picnic in hand is our top free day out, we pack up food, picnic blankets and head out, we just google Country Parks or local play parks and you get are met with a massive amount of choice.
The kids play in the park, or we go for walks, chat and explore. This holiday though has been even better as Sun-Pat sent us one of their Sports Kits to keep us all more active and burn off the energy.
The kit contains a Cricket Set, Football and Skipping Rope and comes in a handy bag you can carry over your shoulder, both the kids and us – LOVE IT!
Guess what though Sun-Pat have 420 of them to give away. You can head to their website and follow the link, but whilst you are there also check out their Free Fuelling Families Guide for 42 activities and tips to keep the kids entertained.
We have downloaded ours and have been trying some out, we went PYO the other day and I really like the idea of dying some T-Shirts in the garden with my creative kiddos.
Also, each day on their Facebook Page Sun-Pat are giving away 10 kits so you can be in with a great chance of having your own Sun-Pat Sports Fun.
Our kit is in the car and coming out with us on each of our adventures, Addison is excited to take it on a play date with her friends at the park too as she has loved learning to hit the Cricket Ball.
What are your top tips for keeping the kids entertained this Summer? Let me know if you complete any of the Fuelling Families guide, I may do a post later in the Summer showing you some of what we have been up to.
