When I popped to Katie’s blog the other day I was so excited by her competition. She is working with Debenhams and the winner receives £500 worth of vouchers, £250 for herself and £250 for the man in her life.
Create two moodboards, one showcasing a casual outfit for a gig and the other showing a smart outfit for a dinner date. Each featuring an item or items from the Debenhams denim jeans for men range and from the mens range also.
I was hugely excited, the Mr loves to shop, he is the best male shopper I have ever met (and I have a gay brother), before kids we would drive all round the country to find new places to shop, for hours we would try things on, we both love fashion. Ash is definitely better dressed than me and can wear anything, he is one handsome guy. I love to buy clothes for him and Debenhams funnily enough is my fave place for his Jeans, so much choice.
I can’t think of a man more that deserves to win a shopping spree, he is desperate for new clothes as since having the kids we don’t get to shop unless for them, he has been wanting a pair of Brogues for as long as I can remember.
So here are my mood boards for the handsome man I share my days with.
I started with the trainers, we are shoe addicts, so we usually start there in our house, Ash loves a smart/causal trainers, I love that these could be teamed with so much, jeans were a must, darker tone, followed by a white tee, nothing more classic than a good quality white tee a must for any mans wardrobe. Lastly I added a nice hoodie, gigs can get warm, so at least he can take this off and it is easy to hold, or if I am chilly I can put it on.
We are actually having a date night in the next month, I am super excited and would love the Mr to have those coveted Brogues, so obviously they were the 1st thing I picked for this board, these Tan ones are so Ash, with the touch of red laces, they are bang on trend and his favourite colour. Patterned shirts are Ashley’s go to, we call them his Alfie Moon shirts, some are a little much for me, but I LOVE this one, it is classic but not too plain. Lastly I teamed it with smart dark skinny jeans and of course a nice belt, he loves to accessorize.
So if you were buying for the man in your life what would you choose ?
Thanks Katie for the inspiration, I really hope I can get those Brogues some time soon for Ashley.
