Back in 2009 I found the Day Zero Project. I loved everything about it. I am a massive list lover and this was the ultimate list.
Fast forward 5 years and I have been desperately trying to find a control of my life. I started my Love Life, Love Me project on my blog, but the every-days took over. Blogging every week/fortnight about my progress was just not possible. But I want to change things. I want to do more things for me, to make memories for my children.
So I have decided to start my Day Zero Project all over again. I am excited 101 things that I can do in 1001 days.
I have promised myself to only put things on my list that I honestly believe I can make happen, no trips to NYC on there this time, I have also promised myself that over 50% shall be things for me, it sounds selfish but honestly I do not do as much for me anymore.
If you would like here is a link to my list last time round back in 2010, some of the things I did not complete have moved onto my current list, which currently in the 60’s – here are a few of my tasks.
- Renew our vows
- Take a cake decorating course
- Climb a tree
- Potty train Addison and Deacon
- Go on holiday
- Go to Bravissimo and treat myself to a bra
- Go to the Cinema (it has been at least 4 yrs)
- No take aways for a fortnight
- Tell myself 1 nice things about myself everyday
- Take the kids to Cbeebies land
As last time I am struggling a little so I am opening it up to you all for inspiration, please help me complete my list so i can start my Day Zero Project this month.
What I love about Blogging is when I came up with the idea of starting the Day Zero Project again I told a few awesome bloggers about it, the lovely Lauren and Kirsty decided they also wanted to join in, so I have decided to every month do an update of how my tasks are going and what I complete, with this I shall open it up for people to join in and share their lists and updates, a way to keep all of us motivated.
You don’t have to necessarily be doing the DZP, maybe just a life changing to do list, a bucket list, it’s all the same, a way of striving for happiness.
