Toy Story Party

A week ago we celebrated Addison turning 4 and pre celebrated Deacon turning 2 with a joint party.

As every year before I love planning parties for the kids, we settled on a Toy Story theme this time as Addison loves the films and decorations were bought, a cake was made, bouncy castle came and I of course made up food names to the theme.

Come take a look at our party fun.

We didn’t go with Toy Story themed clothing this year, ¬†instead Addison chose Dolphins for them all from Mini Rodini, here they are waiting for friends to arrive in front of their Toy Story crew.

The very simple cow hide table showed off cute simple little goody bags I put together, Hamm, Aliens and Mr & Mrs Potato Head, all filled with Toy Story treats from Stickers, Poppers, toys, sweets and more.

Pizza Planet is a massive part of the film, so we had our very own, offering 3 types of pizza

Toy Story Party Food

Slinky Dog brought Hot Dogs

Woody had Sour “Snakes in my Boot” for naughty treats

Mr & Mrs Potato Head Crisps and Galaxy Moon Rocks from the aliens provided nibbles

Hamm brought “Hamm Sandwiches” as well as emptying out his coins for all to feast on

Buzz brought his rocket fuel to make sure no one was thirsty and Jesse looked after entertainment in the form of Colouring Fun. (shown in video below)

As it rained (so different to last year) we had an impromptu pass the parcel game in which most of the little participants were unsure of what to do. But they looked so cute all in a circle on the village hall floor, after a quick dance to Frozen it finally dried enough for Garden games and bouncy castle fun.

The party came to a close with blowing out the candles on the Pink Etch a Sketch party cake, she wouldn’t let me make it red, chocolate/orange flavoured inside. The birthday girl managed 4 bits, well I guess she did turn 4!

They had a wonderful time, all little dis-shelved and very sleepy. A little too much for some.

I can’t believe it is a year before I will be party planning again. I wonder what next year shall see me making.
Here’s a little Video of our day, although I was so busy I got little pictures and video in the end, but surely that is a sign of a good party.
